Longchi National Forest Park, located in Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, is one of the 20 key national forest parks in China. It boasts diverse topography and landscapes, with a wide variety of wild trees, alpine and sub-alpine flowers. It is also one of the five major species conservation bases in China, home to nationally first-class protected animals such as giant pandas, golden monkeys and takins. This area is blessed with snowfall that begins in late November every year, and the snow accumulation period lasts for 4-5 months.
DÀYA plans to construct an eco-resort destination with a world-class hotel and resort as the centerpiece while maximally preserving the original natural appearance.
The overall planning and architectural design are undertaken by Kerry Hill Architects, and the project is conceived as an elegant and serene mountain village, with the hotel and facilities nestled in a pine forest, accompanied by rhododendrons, streams and Longchi Lake. A series of low-key and quiet buildings will be carefully integrated into the forest, creating a harmonious coexistence as if they have been there for a long time, blending seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and forest.
