Lek Mathar Bunnag, graduated with a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University, served as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore from 1984 to 1986, and was an Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at University of Hong Kong from 1986 to 1988. He founded Bunnag Architects International Consultants in 1990. And in 2012, he was conferred an honorary Doctorate from the Thai University of the Arts and was awarded the title of "National Master of Architecture of Thailand".
